As of Sunday, August 4th there have been 251 mass shootings in the United States in just 216 days. In just this year alone, R3c has been called to respond to hundreds of shooting events. Two of those mass shootings occurred this weekend leaving dozens killed, many more injured, and even more traumatized and dealing with the effects of a disruptive event in their lives. The first happened Saturday morning in El Paso, Texas where 20 people were killed and dozens more were injured. Less than 14 hours later, another shooting occurred, this time in Dayton, Ohio. There are at least nine people that have been killed with 27 others that were injured.

R3 Continuum is working in both areas to help support and respond to these events. Within hours of each event we were contacted to provide support and have been actively reaching out to our network, our clients, and our partners to organize a significant number of responses and to help everyone affected in any way we can. We will continue to provide assistance throughout this difficult time and will continue to be in regular contact with those in need and our dedicated team members that can provide support.
